Cool post counts and registration numbers...

Post by Drazex on Tue Dec 30, 2014 12:01 am

So, there are some fun landmarks for a forum's posts and member figures, and just some generally cool things you see occasionally.  So feel free to post your cool observations here.

For example, KvaGram was the 1150th person to join the forums (a much more even number than my 978), but Kalefor gets the wonderfully even 1300th join.  And the reason I only bring those two up, is because they're the only two on an interval of 50 who have actually made a post :^P

Though what made me think of this today, was that my last post (before this one), was the 1111st post for the forum XD  With any luck, maybe someone else will be able to catch a screenshot of the 2222nd when we reach that lofty post count.

But for now, I did screen cap 1111, just for the lulz:

So, does anyone else have some interesting user or post facts?

That's pretty cool! Now if we could get some of these lazy asses to actually POST on the damn forums.... lol. But 1111 messages. That's pretty good!

Aye. The (vast) majority of our members have never even posted in the "new trainers" section. I honestly wonder why someone would bother signing up if they aren't going to post at all. Even on forums I vacated very quickly, I still posted at least like 2 posts before leaving >.>

Looks like I was 537th to join the forums, a very odd number xD

I have the 10th most posts which is a nice even number, though I think this post will raise my ranking to 9th. I am okay with that though, 9 is my favorite number.

I am now setting a goal for myself to get to number 3 in the post rankings. It will take some effort, but 3 is my second favorite number, and it means I have been quite active.

Besides, for me to make all of those posts means activity, and maybe me being active will make others more active!

Let's hope so!!! Even if it takes awhile, it does make a difference. We had some new people popping up when we had you, Drazex and a couple other regulars. But once they started fail-saucing people started dropping off.

I know I'm the type of person that would join a forum even if a couple people were only posting(if it was a forum I was interested in) because that means it's still active. I'd rather go to a smaller forum where I know I'll be responded(nicely) to than go to some big forum where the little guy is looked down on.
