Your favorite country

Post by Drazex on Tue Sep 08, 2015 10:19 am

What is your favorite country? There are only two rules: It must be a REAL country, and it can't be a country you are a citizen of.

Also, WHY?

Probably also Japan, for a similar reason. Actually living here now (not a citizen, so it still counts!) I have less romantic notion of the place, but it is still so safe and peaceful.

Really, that I haven't been very culture shocked, lol. In many ways, my personality and personal culture are almost closer to Japan than to America. The language has been far more of a barrier to me than the culture, lol.

LOL, not at all. I have so little time outside of work, that I can't bring myself to study at home, and it's been really hard to pick up a lot of language while speaking. My Japanese has definitely been improving, but I am nowhere near being fluent any time soon XD

Ahhh, okay :p

I'd really like to study more. But finding adequate resources is difficult. I have Readthekanji and The Japanese For Everyone book, but finding decent sources to help with speech and stuff are hard to find without sifting through tons of money schemes posing as language learning tools lol.

Yeah, I bet. That's also another big issue on my end as well. Working 44 hours a week and making a game doesn't leave much room for other hobbies lol.
